Are you concerned about something you have experienced on campus as a student, parent, or faculty member at Furman University? Now you can confidentially share your story with the Furman Free Speech Alliance simply by using a new online portal.
Earlier this month, the Furman Free Speech Alliance created a new online portal available to the entire Furman community.
The idea is simple: We want to know when speech is being suppressed at Furman so that we can help. So, we’ve created a confidential portal that anyone can use to report incidents from the past or present.
The portal is open to students, alumni, faculty, and the community. Once you’ve reported an incident, we will contact you directly to assist you with your situation.
Of course, we hope that incidents of suppressing speech are rare at Furman, but unfortunately, they happen all the time on campus. This portal is the next step in holding Furman’s administration accountable for their promise to protect free speech.
